About Molonglo Valley
Molonglo Valley is Canberra's newest district, built from scratch over the last decade or so on the slopes between the National Arboretum and Stromlo Forest Park. Coombs and Wright came first, then Denman Prospect and Whitlam, and building is still going on.
Almost everything here is new: new carpet, new lounges, young families and first-home buyers. Ongoing building nearby also means dust. Fine construction dust and soil from bare blocks find their way inside, especially on windy spring days.
